Yaya is obsessed with Michael Jackson.
She adores him.
She often called herself "Tahlia Jackson" to friends & in games.
She wanted to turn her hair black & her skin brown.
She listened to his music every day & on most days she googled him & played videos.
She played his 'Number 1s' DVD over & over.
This morning we had lots of hugs before school after I had to tell her he had died.
She was "mobbed" by a group of kids as we entered school who were asking her if she was ok.
Her teacher had a craft activity set up for her to make a "tribute"to him. She talked to her about it and hugged her tight (An amazing teacher!. We are very lucky to have her.)
We had lots of calls asking if Tahlia was ok.
That is how much people know she loves him.
Poor baby.
It is a hard day for her.
Her first love is gone :(
