On Friday afternoon Cam & I went to the Seahorse Inn to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary. It was romantic, relaxing and beautiful.

After a night of delicious food, fine wine, quiet uninterupted conversations & romance, we woke to a delicious breakfast then rested on the beach. I read a book in peace on the beach for the first time in years!
Then we stopped of at Eden wharf for lunch and a wander along the pier before heading home (via a peek in the shops).

Shortly after arriving home on the Saturday we had a fantastic surprise to find my brother and three nieces arrive at the door (from Torquay, 7-8 hours drive away)! To say I was happy would be an understatement.

We had an Australia Day celebration at Magic Mountain so they joined our family for that and, even though I was working it was a great day. Cam got up on stage with the entertainers and had a sing. It was fun to see the reaction of our staff who had never heard him sing before.

cute lil dancer in the crowd!
Last night my brain broke through a fuzzy barrier that was protecting it from reality and I realised that today is the last day of the school holidays. Nooooooo!!!!
I want another week! No amount of wishing otherwise will change the date so I am spending today labelling pencils and uniforms and getting my head around the familiar routine of school life.
