It felt GREAT!!! The kids said it has been the "Best Saturday Ever!"
After a slow start (so nice not to rush) we hopped in the car just to get out of the house and see where our feet (and the car) took us.
Things are a bit smokey due to a fire on Thursday.
We went to the shops.
Into the newsagent to buy a Lotto ticket and check out the books.
Tahlia says "If you don't win this week Mum you need to just quit!" So wise.
The kids chose these awesome books.
We wandered a bit.
Saw this seagull who must have lots of information.
Lochie visited his favourite shop and YaYa bought her favourite lollies - jubes.
We watched Jake play tennis.
Then took him home (he didn't want to play) and went to lunch.
"Best Saturday Ever" deserves fizzy drink and a Coke Spider (and an iced coffee for Me).
They washed down Nachos, Bagel and a Maple syrup crepe.
Afterwards we went to the beach to soak up the perfect 27 degree sunshine.
We made sand cakes and then threw them off the jetty to see if they'd break up.
Some swans came to say hello today.
After a couple of hours the kids said they were ready to go home.
The kids are all shiny, clean and delicious now.
