Camping trip

On Wednesday my little man took off on an adventure. He and a hundred or so other 9-10ish year olds went to Bournda National Park for 2 nights and 3 days of dusty, dirty, wet & cold FUN.

A number of parents took the kids out to camp and helped set up the tents and other required gear. Although there was a practice tent assembly day at school, this proved to be somewhat tricky.

Of course we Mums had to help the boys check out the tent to make sure it was comfortable.

Over the course of the 3 days the kids had loads of great experiences such as, raft building, Aboriginal Art, Bush walking, Challenges and Beach games. They had so much fun!

When Loc came home this afternoon he hadn't had a shower or brushed his teeth for the whole time he'd been gone AND he was still in the same clothes!
Straight in the bath to remove that smell & check for Ticks (none - phew!).

After a good long soak he emerged as the boy I'd previously known only this one had just undergone an experience that he'll remember and cherish forever. Gotta Love That!!
